Other’s Opinions

The interwoven characters and complex contrast of light and dark themes kept me absolutely engaged page after page. Synesthesia and fibonacci, fascinating! Thrilling pacing! Luminous phrasing, gorgeous syntax. I guess you can tell I Love Love LOVED this book! Can’t wait to read the next release from this uniquely talented author!

This novel is an amazing read! The characters are very well developed and the story moves along at a fast pace. I had a hard time putting it down. If you love mysteries and thrillers with a scientific bent, you don’t want to miss this one. I can’t wait for the sequel (which, by the way, you get a sneak peek of at the end)!

So, this book was quite the interesting read. It really takes you on a path through quantum physics and molecular sciences through hyperosmia. The only thing I didn’t like was that it did seem to get a tad repetitive with certain explaining terms.
Overall, a very good read, good story line, and very likable characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

An amazing read! I can’t wait for the authors next novel…

At times I felt this novel was written for me. I have a hyper-sensitive nose so I was hooked in the first paragraph by: “it happens when your brain overloads from processing the molecular composition of everyone’s deodorant choices in a half-mile radius”.

I laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the story, plot, location, descriptions and excellent characters. The main character certainly had keen observation that from early in the book I felt I was riding on the shoulders of a Sherlock Holmes. The villain character seemed to be as controlling and narcissistic as Moriarty.

Every now and again I read a book that crosses so many genres; yet is so much more. This novel is one of them. Essentially it’s an amazing story that includes hyperosmia, synesthesia, neural mapping & quantum theory. Quote a line in the book tells you what it’s about without giving the plot away: “Quantum entanglement with a void-man fixes lifelong hyperosmia.”

The author has a wonderful way with words. What more can I say: read it!
